Everything You Need to Know Before You Tour
If you're recently engaged, choosing the venue is probably first on your list. Northfield Estate is for couples who want to celebrate in the countryside, surrounded by their people, in an elegant space that you and your planner can make entirely your own.
To us, Southern hospitality means making every guest feel welcome and taken care of, from the first email to the last dance. Here is how a Northfield wedding works.
02 What's included
Your Wedding Day at the Estate
- 12 hours of exclusive use on Fridays and Saturdays (10 hours Sunday through Thursday)
- Bridal suite and groom's cottage for getting ready
- Estate ballroom, upper and lower terraces, and lawn ceremony sites
- Sailcloth tent with draping and lighting, April through November
- 150 Willow ceremony chairs, 150 King Louis chairs, 15 round tables, 10 cocktail tables, rectangular tables, and the Estate Bar
- Setup and breakdown of Northfield tables and chairs
- A dedicated venue manager
- Nights in the estate house with a weekend package
03 Your team
Caterers, Planners, and Vendors
Bring your caterer. Northfield welcomes the licensed catering partner of your choice, booked directly with them.
A planner is required. Every couple hires a licensed, insured planner offering full planning, partial planning, or event management.
Rentals. Rent-E-Quip is our exclusive rental company for anything beyond the included inventory, including tent sidewalls, fans, and heaters.
Everyone else is your choice. All vendors must be licensed and insured and send a Certificate of Insurance 30 days before the event.

From Tour to Wedding Weekend
- 01Tour the estateWalk the grounds with our venue director, in person or virtually.
- 02Reserve your dateA signed contract and a 50% deposit hold your weekend.
- 03Choose rentalsMeet with Rent-E-Quip, our exclusive rental partner, for anything beyond the included inventory.
- 04Four months outThe remaining balance of your package is due.
- 05Sixty days outSend us your day-of event liability insurance.
- 06Four to six weeks outFinal walkthrough with your planner and venue manager.
- 07Two weeks outRehearsal, final guest count, and final details.
- 08Your wedding weekendWe open the gates and the estate is yours.
